Lahaina Surfing Lesson
Our introductory lesson focuses on giving the beginner surfer an easy approach focused on safety, fundamentals, and ocean-awareness. Lessons are offered in either group settings or private lessons pending your preference. Group lessons will have one instructor to each five guests while private lessons are for guests looking to have their own instructor for their party only. Includes all needed gear, just show up with your swim gear on and be ready to have a lot of fun out on the water! Pricing includes State Tax.

- Restrictions: Age 9+ for a group lesson
- Guests are responsible to provide their own transportation to/from the lessons
- Meeting Location: Ukumehame Beach Park
● Ukumehame Beach Park is located near mile marker 12 on the Honoapiilani Highway (Hwy 30) in West Maui.
● Look for and meet at the black Toyota Tundra pickup truck with an orange flag/cloth and black Thule surf rack on the back.
● Meeting place is 1⁄4 mile to the Lahaina side (north) Ukumehame beach parking lot- NOT in the parking lot. - Leave all valuables and items not needed behind
- Apply sunblock before tour starts
- Swimwear on before tour starts
- Reef shoes, optional
- Towel and/or beach blankets
- Drinking water or preferred beverage
- Snacks and/or lunch
- If there is family on the beach watching, you may want to bring a beach umbrella and/or beach chairs.
- Surfing guide to assist with lesson and questions
- Surfing Board appropriate for your height/weight
- Reef booties for your feet to protect them
- Rashguard shirt to protect from sun and sand on board
- Optional guide gratuity is not included and may be paid directly after the tour
- Food and beverage are not offered as part of this experience
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to surf lesson time to check in
- It is not needed to print off tickets as we will email them accordingly
Activities are refundable up until 72 hours prior to your activity date. Once the cancellation period has passed, refunds will not be issued for any reason unless the vendor determines a reason(s) that the activity is unable to operate.
