Hawaiian Canoe Experience
Departing from Wailea Beach in South Maui, this outrigger canoe excursion is a unique way to experience authentic Hawaiian culture. At the time of booking, guests may request to participate in the 60 minute or 90-minute canoe experience. The 90-minute canoe experience includes a short snorkel stop. Upon arrival, guests will learn about the canoe and then help the guide get the boat into the water. All guests will help paddle the canoe and it’s not uncommon to see marine life such as turtles, corals, and other reef life. During the whale season, guests have a chance of seeing our famous humpback whales. All guest must be age 5+ to participate.

Private tours are available for this experience. There are several different combinations of canoe sizes pending how large your party is. In total there can be up to 26 total guests in five different / seperate canoes. There is currently 1 canoe that may hold up to six guests and there are four canoes that can hold up to 5 guests. Price for private tour is the same regardless if you have one guests or the maximum number of guests per canoe.
All reservations are subject to availability. Standard tours (non-private tours) will receive a full refunds up until 72 hours prior to the check in time of the tour. Private Tours require a 7 day notice of cancellation to recieve a refund. Refunds are not issued to guests who no-show or cancel after the cancel period has passed. View all Terms & Conditions.
