Hana & Haleakala w/ Cliffside Landing
Another one of our top all-time favorite helicopter flight routes & tours! This 75-minute flight will fly around the eastern portion of the island of Maui which includes the areas of Hana & Haleakala. Along the way around the mountain, guests will have views of the coastline, waterfalls, old lava fields, and other amazing views of the back of Haleakala and tropical Hana. About midway through the flight, the pilot will land the helicopter on a remote cliffside property on the backside of Haleakala where you can get out of the helicopter to take images of the surrounding mountain, grasslands, ocean and take images next to the helicopter with the pilot. The landing certainly adds to the experience as the views from the cliffside area are spectacular! The helicopter has a perfect safety record after years of flying and their crew has always taken great care of our guests. - Rideshare & taxi can be harder to get at this location since it is an airport location
- Clothing that is solid and dark to avoid any reflections in the windows
- Camera for pictures & video: mobile phone or camera is great
- Bring as little as possible on the flight and leave all valuables behind
- Please no large camera bags or purses on the flight due to limited space
- Sunglasses are nice to have along with a light cover-up since there is A/C on board

Tour Requirements
- The helicopter seats 6 guests maximum pending weights
- Each seat can hold a guest that is less than 240lbs
- Additional comfort seat to be purchase if 240lbs or more
- Availability depends on the combined weight of all guests onboard
- Guests weight are required to book all helicopter trips
Front Seat Upgrade
- Front Seat Upgrade is valid for 2 guests minimum & maximum
- Front seat upgrade has combined 380lbs maximum weight
- Weights are required in order to book the front seat upgrade
- If the upgrade is only for one guests, upgrade price remains the same
- Optional pilot gratuity can be provided after tour directly
- Parking fee is additional in cost and paid for at the Heliport before tour
- Upgrades such as photo/video packages can be purchased after the tour
- Standard tour does not include any photo packages from the tour operator
- Arrive at the Kahului Heliport 30 minutes prior to departure to check-in and park
- We will email you reminders and driving directions a few days prior to your trip
- It is not needed to print off any tickets/voucher as we will them directly to the vendor
DO YOU WANT GUARANTEED FRONTROW SEATS? This flight option offers an upgrade to guarantee the front two seats upon availability for an additional fee. The upgrade is valid for two guests with a combined weight of less than 380lbs. This will guarantee the front two window seats next to the pilot. Advance notice is required to guarantee the upgrade as space is often limited! At check out, check the box to request the front row seat upgrade for a fee.
Activities are refundable up until 72 hours prior to your activity date. Private charters require a seven-day notice of cancellation. Once the cancellation period has passed, refunds will not be issued for any reason unless the vendor determines a reason(s) that the activity is unable to operate.
