This 1/2 day hike is great for guests looking to explore a little more of Maui's rainforests and waterfalls. The trip typically will take guests along the famous Road to Hana to explore hiking trails along the way. This hike will include optional swimming at various freshwater falls & pools. The total estimated trip duration from start to finish is about 5 to 6 hours (including drive time). A requirement of this tour is that guests be able to walk on various uneven terrain. This trip is considered to be a "moderate" hike and we find the average guests with some previous hiking experience should feel comfortable participating in this hike. Please keep in mind that every guest has different opinions of what may be an easier hike compared to others though we feel overall this trip is generally rated as a moderate hike compared to other options on Maui. Guests may request accommodation pick up service or they can meet the guide in Kahului Town and then be shuttled out to the hiking location from there. Guide reserves the right to alter tour for the safety of guests and crew. Displayed pricing includes State tax.

- Service is offered from most, not all, accommodations. Pick is offered at just about all major resorts
- At check out, indicate where you will be staying and we can verify if the shuttle can pick you up there
- If the shuttle can not pick up at your accommodation, the closest location will be provided to your location
- It is required to wear closed-toe shoes on this trip that are appropriate to hike in
- Bring a small backpack for any personal items that you may need during the hike
- Clothing that may get dirty or wet during the hike and proper hiking shoes
- Camera to take images and video during your hike; bring a protective case
- A towel is recommended if you are going to be swimming along with swim gear
- Swim gear on under your hiking attire is encouraged as you will be in the rainforest
- Cash for optional gratuity for the guide is always welcomed (see gratuity details below)
- State tax is included in the displayed rate. A four percent service fee applies
- Pick up service is offered as part of this tour for a fee though not automatically included
- Water and a light snack is provided as part of this hiking experience, it is a fairly short hiking trip

Activities are refundable up until 72 hours prior to your activity date. Private hiking charters require a seven-day notice of cancellation. Once the cancellation period has passed, refunds will not be issued for any reason unless the vendor determines a reason(s) that the activity is unable to operate.
