Raft Whale Watch
This ocean raft whale watching tour is great for guests looking for smaller tour sizes and fewer amenities onboard compared to the catamaran boats that leave from the harbor. Departing from the Kihei Boat Ramp in South Maui, this 2-hour trip will take guests out to observe the humpback whales. Each day is different and while some days the boat will not need to go too far out from the boat ramp, other days may require a little more driving around to locate the action. The boat is a hard bottom raft and is for guests ages 8+ only as the raft can bounce around a little more than the catamaran style trips. No previous neck or back injuries allowed onboard or any pregnant women. See additional details below.

Activities are refundable up until 72 hours prior to your activity date. Once the cancellation period has passed, refunds will not be issued for any reason unless the vendor determines a reason(s) that the activity is unable to operate.
- Whales are active at every time of the day and there is not better times of the day to do this activity
- This trip is great for guests looking for a 'basic' trip without the amenities and snacks that other trips have
- This is a hard bottom ocean raft and will scoot along the surface of the water as it moves around
- A light jacket is nice to have as the boat may spray a little water as it moves. Conditions change quickly
- Overall we love this style of trip as it is quick and easy. Bring a hat and sunglasses to protect from the sun
