Surf Safari: Thousand Peaks Surf Lessons
Your Maui surf lesson will take place at the surf break known as "Thousand Peaks."
This surf spot is perfect for both beginner and intermediate surfers, offering gentle, long waves in clear waters. Additionally, there is a beautiful white sandy beach with plenty of shade, making it an excellent spot for family members or friends who want to watch or enjoy some snorkeling along the beach while you're having your lesson.
Thousand Peaks is conveniently located between Mile Marker 12 and Mile Marker 12.5 off Highway 30 (Honopi'ilani Highway), right next to Ukumehame Beach Park. If you're coming from Ka'anapali Resorts, it's a 20 minute drive to the south. If you're staying in Kihei, Makena, or Wailea Resorts, it's approximately 20-30 minutes away. For those in Paia, Haiku, and the North shore areas, expect a 30-40 minute drive to reach this location.
Lessons are offered in either group settings or private lessons pending your preference. Includes all needed gear, just show up with your swim gear on and be ready to have a lot of fun out on the water! Pricing includes State Tax.

- Apply sunblock before tour starts
- Swimwear on before tour starts
- Towel for afterwards
- Surfing guide to assist with lesson and questions
- Soft top surfboard
- Reef booties for your feet to protect them
- Long sleeved rashguard shirt to protect from sun and sand on board
- Optional guide gratuity is not included and may be paid directly after the tour
- Food and beverage are not offered as part of this experience

Activities are refundable up until 72 hours prior to your activity date. Once the cancellation period has passed, refunds will not be issued for any reason unless the vendor determines a reason(s) that the activity is unable to operate.
