Private Haleakala Sunset and Walking Tour (5 - 6 Hours)
This Native Hawaiian Family owned and operated company will take you up Haleakala which is Maui's 10,000ft volcano. Since this is private trip the tour is customizable to fit your interests. Having smaller vans allows us to go places some of the larger tours don't visit. Meet at Kahului park and ride or for an additional cost we can pick you up from your lodging. Start at sea level and cruise through rolling countryside, pastureland and old lava fields. Take a half mile stroll through a hundred year old forest with cedar, pine, spruce and eucalyptus trees. Learn about invasive species and native flora and fauna. Take a break with fresh pineapple and banana bread before conintuing up to the Haleakala Crater Visitor Center. Walk the Pa Ka'oao (0.4 mile) trail, Drive to Pu'u'ula'ula the summit, view outer islands including Lana'i, Kaho'olawe, Hawai'a (Big Island). Relax as the sun dips beneath the horizon or below the clouds. Soak up the scenic views and knowlege while leaving the navigating to experienced locals!

Standard tour reservations are refundable up until 72 hours prior to your activity date and all private tours are refundable until 7 days prior. Once the cancellation period has passed, refunds will not be issued for any reason unless the vendor determines a reason(s) that the activity is unable to operate. All reservations are subject to availability and are not confirmed until we are able to contact the vendor to request a booking. Displayed pricing includes applicable taxes. A four percent service fee will be added at check out. The vendor reserves the right to alter activity pending any adverse conditions for the safety of the guests, guide, or vehicle. Tour departs rain or shine and the guides will determine if the course is not safe to be on in the event of weather.
